Questions about Childhood1. What is the earliest event in your life you can remember?
My earliest memory is remembering a memory of waiting for my mom to come home from the hospital with either spencer or sierra.
2. How did your parents choose your name?
They were going to call me rusty old ford because they thought that was hilarious but they stuck with chase A ford instead.
3. Where did you grow up?
Mission Viejo, CA
4. How did you travel or go places in those days?
My mom took me everwhere for the most part because she was scared of me going anywhere by myself. By the time I was 10 or 11 I was able to bike to savons.
6. What experiences do you remember having with your brothers and sisters?
One time my brother ryan tied my hands to the garage rafters and I was on my tiptoes and the rope was cutting into my wrists. When my parents came home they were really mad. And he wasn’t allowed to babysit anyone anymore.
I shared a room with my sister mallorie and my brothers spencer and ryan. One night I got scared and my sister mallorie let me hold her hand until I fell asleep. She let me hold her hand every night for awhile while I slept.
7. What kinds of things did you do for fun?
Would hang out with the neighborhood kids. Made movies. Rode bikes. Go to my neighbors and play Pokemon and power rangers a lot. I played basketball with the neighbors. I remember I always liked talking to adults.
8. Did your friends or family have any nicknames for you? What did they call you? Why did they call you that?
Cho, choey, choseph, chosephine (all one pretty much) –names given by mallorie Jones
9. What chores did your parents have you do? How did you feel about doing them?
Dishes, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom, sweeping, folding, cleaning my room.
I never wanted to do my chores! I usually had a chore about every day.
10. What was Christmas like when you were young?
Christmas was always really cool when I was young. My parents did a really good job of making it special.
11. Did you have a special way of celebrating birthdays? What special family traditions did you have?
Usually for my birthday I would have a party and a cake. They were really fun.
12. Who baptized you? Who attended the baptism?
My dad baptized me. I can’t remember who attended the baptism.
13. How did you feel about school? What did you do well in school? What did you do poorly? Which teachers did you like best?
I liked the social aspect of school. I never did very well in my classes.

1. Where did you live? Tell me about your home.
I lived in a house that was in the same neighborhood as the house I grew up in.
2. What was your favorite activity as a teenager? Tell me about it.
My favorite activity as a teenager was to play music.
3. What was school like as a teenager? Was there something you were especially good at in school? What school activities did you participate in?
I didn’t really participate in many school activities in high school.
4. What books did you read? What were your favorite radio or television programs?
My favorite TV show in high school was probably scrubs. I would watch it all the time with spencer.
5. What was teenage music like then? What was your favorite kind?
When I was in high school I was obsessed with Led Zeppelin. I even grew my hair out to look more like jimmy page.
6. Did you go to school dances? What were they like? How did teenagers dance then?
I went to a few. It was mostly grinding and lame black people dancing.
7. What home responsibilities did you have?
I don’t remember, I was mostly ignoring them.
11. Did you ever like someone who didn’t like you? Tell me more.
No. Never.
12. When did you begin to have a testimony of Jesus Christ? What memories do you have of Church meetings or activities?
I think I began to have a testimony around age 17. I have many memories about growing up and going to church.
